Sweet Springs Nature Preserve offers one of the most inclusive nature trails on the Central Coast. This 0.66-mile out-and-back route begins beneath tall eucalyptus trees and transitions across pavers, decomposed granite, and a boardwalk with edge guards. Tactile guide ropes, braille signage, and raised lettering assist visitors who are blind or have low vision. The final viewing platform is ramped and has low railings and benches, providing unobstructed views of the Morro Bay estuary for wheelchair users. While there are no restrooms or water fountains, the preserve offers a peaceful, sensory-rich experience for a wide range of visitors.
